Reading 2 Rover Updates
LUCAS' Reading 2 Rover Children's Literacy Program is looking for reading teams (pet owner and their therapy dog) to get this fabulous program started. No experience necessary, just the desire to make a difference in the lives of children and your dog. The dogs will need to be certified as therapy dogs and LUCAS will facilitate that requirement if necessary.
With the Fall school semester quickly approaching, we would like to get our first group of teams scheduled. The libraries are anxious to have this program and we are even more anxious to bring it to them.
